FAQ
What are "clean" fragrances and why do you use them?
Clean fragrances are free from phthalates, carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins, endocrine disruptors, organ toxins and acute toxins. We choose to use them because we care about what you bring into your home, and believe you shouldn't have to choose between beautiful scents and peace of mind.
Where do you source your materials?
We source all of our materials from companies here in the US.
Are your candles vegan and cruelty free?
Our products are all cruelty free and vegan!
Can I return or exchange my candle?
We want you to be 100% satisfied! In the unlikely event that your candle arrives damaged, send us an email with pictures and we will send you a replacement. If you don't love the scent you chose, please contact us for help! Customer satisfaction is our top priority.
Why is my candle producing soot?
We thoroughly test each scent to ensure clean, low to no soot (smoke) burns but it is a flame, after all, and a little soot can happen from time to time. A sooting candle is often the result of a wick that's too long or burning your candle for too long at once. Proper wick care is key to a clean burn. Before you light your candle each burn, be sure to trim your wick to 1/4". If you forget and you happen to see soot, extinguish the candle, trim with a wick trimmer (or scissors) and relight. Do not burn your candle more than 4 hours at a time. Doing so will result in a too long wick and may produce soot.

Do you offer custom orders?
At this time, we do not offer custom orders.
Can I send a candle as a gift?
Absolutely! Our candles make lovely gifts and already come packaged in a kraft box with a label. They are ready to give, with no extra packaging needed! Simply leave a note at checkout, and we'll make sure we pack your order with care and send it to the lucky recipient.
How long after ordering will I receive my candle?
Please allow 3-5 business days for production. We ship immediately after production. You will receive a tracking number via email.
CANDLE CARE
- Always keep wicks centered. Trim wicks to 1/4" before every lighting to ensure an even and cleaner burn. This is so important!
- Avoid burning your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Extinguish the flame and let wax cool before reusing the candle again.
- Stop using your candle when 1/2" - 1/4" of wax remains. Burning more than this can cause your jar to crack or potentially start a fire!
- To prevent tunneling, burn your candle to the edges and allow a full melt pool to form. This should take about 2 - 3 hours.
- Never touch a lit candle. They can get hot!
- Burn candle within sight. Never walk away from a burning candle. Keep candle away from flammable materials.
