Meet the Maker

 Hi! I'm Rachel (Rae), founder and maker behind Luna + Rae Candle Co. I'm a wife, homeschool mom, interior designer, lifelong homebody and nature lover. My family and I live tucked away on a quiet mountain in North Georgia, where the misty mornings, forest trails, star filled skies, and the most spectacular moons (Luna) are part of everyday life. It’s in these peaceful moments that I find my deepest inspiration.

 I've been making candles since 2014, born from a simple obsession with scent and a desire for something cleaner and more intentional for my home. What started as a creative outlet became something I couldn't put down. Fragrance has this strange beautiful power. It can shift the feeling of a room, pull up a memory you forgot you had, and can completely change your mood without you even realizing it. There's just something so special about that. 

For me, candle making is also about more than scent alone. It's about feeling. The warmth, the comfort and the coziness that makes a house feel like home. Every fragrance I curate is intentional, designed to create that connection. I hope when you light a Luna + Rae candle, you feel it too. 🖤
