Candle care
Candle care
- Always ensure the wick is centered and trim the wick to 1/4" before each lighting. This will help prevent soot buildup and maintain a smaller, cleaner flame.
- Keep the candle away from flammable materials, and never leave a burning candle unattended, always burn candles within sight.
- For safety, avoid burning your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Extinguish the flame and allow the wax to cool before relighting.
- When 1/2" of wax remains, stop using the candle to avoid potential damage to the jar or risk of fire. Any leftover wax can be scooped out and used in a wax warmer if desired.
- To prevent tunneling, ensure the candle burns all the way to the edges, creating a full melt pool.
- Never touch a lit candle, as it can become very hot.
- Keep candles away from air currents, ceiling fans, and drafts.
